I graduated from the Tuscia Art High School in Viterbo in 1981, and from 1982 to 1986, I studied Architecture at La Sapienza University in Rome.
From 1986 to 1993, I worked as an interior designer at M. Campelli, an architect in Rome, designing interiors for new constructions in Rome and Italy.
In 1994, I attended the wood painting school at V.O. Art Style and Painting School in Cape Town, South Africa.
Since 1995, for two years, I attended the School of Decoration and Mural Painting "Accademia del Superfluo" in Rome. In 1998, I obtained a diploma as a "Restorer of Antique Furniture" from the Lazio Region in Rome.
In 1999, I co-founded "Artistica," a Ceramic Studio and Art Restoration Laboratory in Viterbo, located on Via di S. Pellegrino. Over the years, I specialized in ceramic decoration, ceramic restoration, wood objects, wall decorations, and created many personal artworks.
I collaborated with several ceramics exhibitions in different cities, including Viterbo and the Ceramics Master in Deruta, Umbria.
I executed the interior decorations of the Sant'Agnese Monastery (15th century) in Vitorchiano, Viterbo, for the Jubilee celebrations in 2000. I taught at the "Artistic Ceramic Decorator" school for the Lazio Region.
Since 2001, I have been teaching ceramic painting, restoration, and fresco painting for the American school SYA "School Year Abroad," the only one in Italy, located in Viterbo (other sections are in Paris and Beijing).
I have conducted restoration works for private clients and worked as an instructor at various levels, from kindergarten to high schools, universities, and created logos and decorations for different companies, hotels, and public places.
I am a co-founder of the Cultural Association "Le Botteghe dell'Arte," created to promote and organize events, exhibitions, cultural exchanges, and offer basic and advanced courses for artistic craftsmanship.
I restored the frescoes of the ancient church of Sant'Antonio in Vitorchiano, Viterbo, and in the church of Sant'Antonio in Soriano nel Cimino, Viterbo.
In 2001, I graduated in Raku ceramics at the "Romano Ranieri" Ceramic Art School in Deruta, Perugia.
I have executed gilding works in Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
I am accredited at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo for Ceramic Workshops.
I participated in silver decorations and the final patina of the scaled model of the "Macchina di Santa Rosa," an important work of art dedicated to Santa Rosa, the patron saint of Viterbo. The Macchina di Santa Rosa is a 30-meter-high monument carried on the shoulders of 100 men (called "facchini di Santa Rosa") through the streets of Viterbo on the evening of September 3rd each year. The Macchina di Santa Rosa is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Commissioned by the "G. Merlini" school in Viterbo, I created the bas-relief of Santa Maria De Mattia.
I am an Art Therapy instructor in collaboration with the Institute of Health, working with disabled individuals and people with mental illnesses, conducting workshops and producing artifacts as a means of providing emotional and professional stimulation. This activity is mentioned in the book "Dalla Creta alla Cretazione" by Gabriella Trani.
I am an art therapy professor at La Sapienza University in Rome. Through my continuous contact with Gabriella, I have been trained and enabled to support those who want to use ceramics as a form of social therapy.
Currently, I am considered one of the foremost experts in ancient Italian ceramics, and I have participated in various exhibitions:
- "Art" in Florence, at Fortezza Da Basso
- "MOA Casa" Interiors Design at Fiera di Roma, Rome
- "Sectorial Trade" for Tour Operators in Utrecht, Netherlands
- "Art Exhibition" in Malta
- "Art Exhibition at Rocca dei Papi" in Montefiascone, Viterbo

I took part in the first edition of "San Pellegrino Cult," a full immersion in ceramic events during the September festivities in Viterbo in 2001, in collaboration with the municipal administration of Viterbo.
I also participated in the first edition of "Musica e Cinema a San Pellegrino," which hosted the Oscar-winning composer Ennio Morricone.
I was invited to exhibit at the Palais des Congrès and the "Museum of Expression" in Paris.
I took part in the "Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition in Belgium" in Luxembourg, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Belgian Ministry of Culture.
I provided international consultancy for the creation of exclusive artworks for the World Congress "A Forest for Kyoto" in Japan. One of the pieces is the hand of former US President B. Obama, which is also exhibited at the "Museum of Peace" in San Francisco, USA.
My works have been featured on various Italian and international television networks, such as Sky Arte, as well as in magazines like National Geographic.
The American painter Paul White, known for designing all the album covers for the American band "Genesis," created his first ceramic artwork in my studio.
In my workshop, I have reproduced the ancient ceramic technique known as "La Zaffera" (Sapphire, cobalt blue), dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries. For this, I have received multiple awards, and several pieces are exhibited in renowned museums worldwide.
My most recent ceramic production, currently on display at the Museo del Duomo in Viterbo, is "I Tarocchi" (The Tarot). Through research and bibliographic evidence, these Tarot cards were brought to Italy specifically to Viterbo. The work is still a "work in progress," and I am studying ancient Chinese Tarot cards.
In April 2019, I embarked on my artistic journey by opening my exclusive and independent studio, called "i Percorsi Artistici di Cinzia Chiulli," in San Pellegrino, the medieval district of Viterbo in Italy.
From here, I am starting new with all my enthusiasm to create new artistic paths.
